Oh my goodness! watching tv sometimes can be a mental workout....I find it strange that everything is turning out 2 be sexy. I am an observer. Now some may label that as being a boring person but I call it wisdom. U need 2 know ur surroundings. If u don't u can end up lost in so many different ways. The other day while watching the commercials in between some of my favorite shows I noticed that most of the commercials today tag everything as Sexy. From food 2 to cleaning products. For example there is a commercial for ice cream and chocolate and the two had 2 merge in a Sexy kind of way....Really? Then there are certain shampoos and conditioners that tell u if u use their product u can have Sexy hair...Really? Now Proactive has decided that if u buy their skin products that is primarily for acne prone skin that ur on the road 2 Sexy skin....Really? All the Axe product commercials are implying 2 our men that if they use their products that the woman will paw all over u with her hands and declare u Sexy....Really? And I have 2 give u one more, how about the shaving products? U know if u use this cream or this razor ur skin will be Sexy and smooth...Really? Oooooo seems a little odd 2 me that they have placed this label on most of the products that we purchase today...
I don't know if it's even reasonable 2 tag that on everything. Seriously being a mother must have ruined me for everything being Sexy. My babies are all teenagers now but i don't remember them being bombarded with Sex in every other commercial or more, when they were toddlers. Heck I don't even remember it being that way when I was a teen. Now when u drive up 2 Dairy Queen 2 get urself a burger ur mind is replaying the commercials and all u can remember is the big red lips making a sexual comment of what food or ice cream 2 choose. Wow is almost an understatement. When did my ability 2 be or act Sexy depend on the foods I eat or the products I use? It is crazy, but its definitely not Sexy and it sure aint cool! Everything is not SEXY! I want 2 yell it 2 the roof top! Wake up America! Don't u know that a baby learns more from birth to 5yrs of age? And I don't know about anyone else's kids out there but when mine were babies they mimicked everything they saw me do or say...They learn from us. So if we say certain things and display certain physical behaviors eventually it won't be long before our toddlers will be doing the same. You swear they swear 2, u lose ur temper they lose theirs 2...Imagine that huh? So the next time u see one of those silly commercials out there turn the channel (especially if u have little ones) and ask urself this one question: Is Everything Really Sexy?
