Gotta Love Proverbs......

Haven't blogged in awhile...It hasn't been because I don't have anything to say. However it's because I have been observing most of the post and comments of my Family/Friends on Facebook... I notice that their are several people out there hurting....I say this because everyone seem to be "so quick" to post how they are feeling without no thought of how it is affecting others on their page or dare I say the very person they are directing their comments to... Last I knew relationships are what makes life work...without each other we are basically all living isolated lives. That's why you "Gotta Love Proverbs" it is the book of WISDOM...Prov. 15:1 tells us that "A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger." Now I have been accused of this one several times and it just seems to be no way around it for me when it comes to one particular person in my life...yet I still strive to give that soft answer. It doesn't always work at turning away the wrath, but I am pressing forward to better me every day...You may be thinking or even saying that you have the right to say what you want on your page, when you want, and how you want to...and your correct you have that right indeed.  But may I ask you all out there a few questions?: When you retaliate with words do you realize you are allowing every one to see your true heart(see Luke 6:45)...cause in case you have never picked up the "Holy Bible" God has a lot to say about "Relationships" I could go on and on about how you should always give people the same respect as you desire, But would you listen? Most likely if you won't listen to the Creator your not going to listen to me either...I could even chalk it up as a waste of my time and efforts to even try to encourage you to do as God instructs us in James 1:19 ".....let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath." I could but I care too much about you all to just sit back and say nothing when your being ugly to each other. Now you may not be one that is posting the ugly, but you may be commenting in favor of the ugly post...GUESS WHAT? your just as guilty as the one saying it...In the very next verse of James 1 (v.20) it says
"for the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God." So don't you see striking back isn't the way to go? As a matter of fact it can sometimes make matters worse. Sometimes we can let our feelings get the best of us, but we should never let them control us.  What we feel is very real at the time but not always fact...Words are powerful and are used carelessly everyday...My advice to you all out there is this: "Repay no evil for evil. Have regard for good things in the sight of all men. If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men."(Rom. 12: 17-18). I say you "Gotta Love Proverbs" because it teaches us about wealth and relationships...You should really give it a read if you are quick to post the UGLY on your page.......I love you and only want to see you all be your BEST....
