United We Stand....Divided We Fall!

I often wonder what goes through a persons mind when they choose 2 allow jealousy,envy, strife, self-seeking, conceit, anger and hatred 2 get the best of them...I wonder about the mind of another because I know what's going through my mind when I allow the cares of the world or the opinions of others get the best of me...I am always wishing I could go back 2 the very moment I allowed myself 2 lose control...You know so I could have a do over moment.

But we don't get go back...If we could I am sure a lot of us, if not all of us, would go back and right some wrongs and take back some very unnecessary spoken words and actions..I have learned that nothing good comes of division and all my life I've known that negative and ugly words cut 2 the very core of a person! The famous saying now a days is "it's my life I will do with it what I want, if u don't like it 2 bad!" Well that is just not true...Yes we get 2 choose which direction our lives take but our lives are not really our own...I say this because each person has been given a measure of influence on this earth...I mean look at the celebrities they have no privacy and many want 2 be like them striving for fame and fortune...There's nothing wrong with wanting 2 be in a life of abundance but most people don't like 2 have there lives under a microscope....I see people using words and actions on a daily basis 2 hurt another or get back at someone...And my question is what for? If someone does or says something 2 hurt u and u retaliate in the same way, I have 2 ask does it take away the hurt or pain that u feel?? I can answer that one out of experience. NO! it doesn't change the fact that u were hurt and neither does it make u feel better. Usually one act of revenge leads 2 another and the viscous cycle continues until one or the other grows up or worse a fatality happens....Even still it won't change that u have been hurt. When u look at this way u find that u could save yourself a lot of time and even spare yourself some pain in the long run. I have learned that the revenge systems fails us all and only seems 2 effective with God. When we do it, it just doesn't work...Unity is rare in our day...and when u do see a group in unity it isn't always for a good cause. God tells us that a house divided will fall and this is so very true...One person can stir up strife and like a raging uncontrollable fire it spreads and therefore brings division..Which then in turn causes a great fall that could have been prevented if that one person would have just simply shared their concerns, dislikes, or disappointments openly rather then in secret with a select few and starting a riot! I know by now u should have the point of my message here...Retaliation is only good for division and there is no unity in that. We can't stand together as a nation, family, lover, parent, co worker, or friend if we are taking cheap shots at one another repaying evil for evil...We can only Stand together if we are United everything else causes Division and we eventually Fall! I don't know about u but I'd rather show love 2 all rather then try 2 think of a plan of retaliation...United We Stand...But..If Divided We Fall.
